Ramadan Night 2 of 30

💚 The Kindness of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Theme: kindness • Free Islamic story for kids ages 5-10

Tonight's Story

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known for his kindness in Makkah and Madinah. People knew him as someone they could trust. They called him "Al-Amin" — the trustworthy one — even before he became a Prophet.

There was a neighbor who did not like the Prophet ﷺ. Every day, she would throw trash in his path. And every day, the Prophet ﷺ would quietly clean it up and walk on without a single complaint.

One day, the path was clean. No trash. But the Prophet ﷺ didn't smile. He felt worried. "Something must be wrong," he thought.

He went to her home and found her sick in bed. He asked how she was feeling and offered to help.

The neighbor was so surprised. "You came to visit me? But I was so unkind to you!" The Prophet ﷺ smiled gently and said, "You are my neighbor. I wanted to make sure you were okay."

Her heart softened. No one had ever treated her with such kindness before. That is the power of kindness — it can change even the hardest of hearts.

Dua of the Night: Dua When Leaving the House

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ

Bismillahi tawakkaltu 'ala Allah

"In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah"

When we step outside, we are going into the world where we will meet other people. This dua asks Allah to help us be kind and good to everyone we meet — just like the Prophet ﷺ.
