Tonight's Story
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known for his incredible generosity. But during Ramadan, something beautiful would happen — his giving would grow even more, like a strong, warm wind that reaches everyone.
Every night during Ramadan, the Angel Jibreel would visit the Prophet ﷺ to review the Quran together. After these special visits, the Prophet's heart would overflow with even more love and generosity.
He gave away so much — food, clothes, whatever he could. Whenever someone asked him for something, he would try his best to help. He never wanted anyone to walk away empty-handed.
His companions were amazed. They said: "The Prophet ﷺ in Ramadan is more generous than the blowing wind." The wind touches everyone — rich and poor, near and far. And that's exactly how the Prophet ﷺ gave.
At iftar time, the Prophet ﷺ loved to share his meal with others. He would invite people who had nothing to come and eat with him. His table was always open, and his heart was always generous.
The Prophet ﷺ taught us that Ramadan is not just about not eating — it's about giving. Giving food, giving time, giving kindness. When we share what we have, our hearts grow bigger, just like his.
Dua of the Night: Dua for Goodness
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah
"Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter"
This is one of the most beloved duas in the Quran. The Prophet ﷺ said it often. When we are generous with others, we are building goodness in this life and the next. This dua asks Allah for the best of both.
