Allah Is With Us
Week 25 • Prophet Muhammad ﷺ • madinah
The Story
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was leaving his home in Makkah.
Some leaders in the city wanted to hurt him because he taught people to worship Allah alone.
Allah had given him permission to go to Madinah, where Muslims were waiting to welcome him.
But men were searching for him. They wanted to catch him.
His companion Abu Bakr went with him.
To hide from the men, they entered a cave, a hollow space in the side of a mountain.
Inside, they stayed out of sight.
But the men looking for the Prophet ﷺ came to that mountain too.
Then they reached the cave.
From inside the cave, Abu Bakr could see the men’s feet near the opening.
He told the Prophet ﷺ that if one of them looked inside, he would see them.
They were so close.
The Prophet told him,
“Do not worry; Allah is certainly with us.”
The men searched nearby, but they did not find the Prophet ﷺ or Abu Bakr.
Allah had protected His Prophet.
After three nights in the cave, a guide arrived with camels. He knew the way to Madinah.
They left their hiding place and set off with him.
The Muslims in Madinah knew the Prophet ﷺ was coming. Every day, they went out to look for him.
Then one day, a man spotted the Prophet and Abu Bakr approaching.
He called out the news.
The people who had waited for him hurried out to welcome him.
The Prophet ﷺ had reached his new home.
In Makkah, men had searched for him to hurt him.
In Madinah, people had waited to welcome him.
Allah had protected him through the journey.
And in the Qur’an, we still read the words he spoke inside that cave.
“Allah is certainly with us.” 🌙
